We want Yard At Yolk to be a place where children can roam free safely, while their parents and carers enjoy a Yolk Farm quality coffee and snack. We have a huge range of hot and cold drinks and snacks, as well as an AMAZING ice cream selection. Why not try a milkshake or sundae too?

  • The Beach@ The Yard (summer only) A giant sandpit, deckchairs and outdoor games to enjoy whilst the sun is shining!

Do I Need To Book?

No need to book!

What times are you open?

We are open 09:00-16:00 every day (Summer Hours)

Is the barn heated?

No unfortunately not! It helps keep the entry price low!

Is food available?

We have a dedicated tea and coffee counter with the amazing Yolk Farm coffee and hot drinks you'll have tried in our main restaurant.  We also offer savoury snacks, cakes, brownies, ice cream, sundaes and milkshakes, as well as picnic boxes for children.

Where should I park?

Please park in the main Yolk Farm car park.  The barn is signposted from there and is a 2 minute walk from the main car park.

IS IT ACCESSIBLE?

The car park is gravelled, and the inside of the barn is concrete and all on one level.

Can I take my FAMILY around the rest of the farm?

Yes - access to the farm and the animals is free.

IS the BARN DOG FRIENDLY?

No, but Yolk Farm Shop and Yolk Farm Kitchen are, as is the rest of the farm as long as the dog is on a lead.

Are there any rules for using the play equipment?

Please supervise your children at all times on the play equipment.

If any equipment looks damaged please let us know and do not use it.

Are there toilets on site?

There is an accessible portaloo toilet with baby change at the barn. There are also toilets in Yolk Farm Kitchen.
